Everglades National Park is a massive, estuarine system almost solely dedicated to preserving the untouched balance of natural wildlife. At a crossroads between temperate and sub-tropical America, the location of the park is key in providing a lush, fertile, low-green landscape. The ecosystem that comprises the Everglades is teeming with wildlife such as alligators, manatees, dolphins, and a variety of bird life. It provides a stable fishery year round for many species of fish including, snook, redfish, trout, tarpon, pompano, jack crevalle, ladyfish, and snapper.
